Citizenship Class

Citizenship Classes Growing out of a wish to increase diversity in our congregation, in February 2012 we began a series of citizenship classes to prepare immigrants to pass the test required to become an American citizen.  With the leadership of volunteer teachers and mentors, the classes continue in series of 10 classes each on Saturday mornings at 10 am. The next session will starts on Saturday, May 25 at 10 am in the Rainbow room. 

Kids with Purpose

Feeding the hungry in our community and supporting our church’s ministry is just one example of the goals of our Kids with Purpose program.  This important mission element of the children’s Sunday School curriculum takes place on the third Sunday of each month when boys and girls gather together for age-appropriate service projects to provide them with the opportunity to have meaningful and formative experiences with mission and outreach.  We are so excited to be able to engage the children…

United Methodist Women

Women of all ages of CCUMC enjoy fellowship while learning and working together. Many meet in small groups monthly for fellowship, to work on a project, or study a specific topic like climate change or Israeli- Palestinians relations. UMC programs are mission-oriented.  Quarterly Programs All women are invited to programs held every quarter, often on Saturdays.
